IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI
+ W.P.(CRL) 17/2016 BHUDEV PAL ..... Petitioner Through:
Mr. Biswajit Kumar Patra, Adv.
versus STATE ..... Respondent Through:
Ms.Kamna Vohra, ASC.
SI Manoj Dahiya, P.S. Punjabi Bagh
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR
O R D E R
% 08.01.2016 The petitioner has challenged the order dated 15.11.2015 passed by the competent authority whereby his prayer for being released on parole for repairing his house as also for arranging funds for the same and reconnecting social ties has been rejected primarily on the ground that the address of the petitioner could not be confirmed despite reminders to the police authorities.
Ms. Kamna Vohra, Additional Standing Counsel points out from the nominal roll that the petitioner has already availed of furlough from 6.11.2015 to 16.11.2015.
It is also pointed out that the second furlough petition is pending before the DG(P).
It is expected that the application of the petitioner seeking second furlough would be decided expeditiously.
This Court is not inclined, at the moment, to accede to the prayer of
the petitioner for being released on parole.
With these observations, the petition is dismissed. A copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of the concerned Jail for information and compliance. ASHUTOSH KUMAR, J JANUARY 08, 2016 ns
