% 18.01.2017 25 years old son of the petitioner is missing since 14.10.2013. The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India by the father of the missing person. Various status reports have been filed detailing steps taken to recover the missing person. Polygraph test has been conducted on at least six persons as noticed by this Court in the order dated 22.09.2016. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that serious endeavour will continue to be taken to trace the missing person. He further submits that the family members of the missing person shall be informed about the progress of the matter every six weeks and in case any leads are received from the family, the same shall be looked into as well.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of binding the respondents to

the statement made in Court. We expect the State to take every possible effort to recover the missing person.
