% 25.05.2017 This writ petition has been filed a cell of political party (as per para 2 of the writ petition) seeking enforcement of a law passed by the same party. We are not inclined to permit the filing of a petition in these premises by a political party. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition and to bring the separate petition.

Regarding the grievance made in the petition, no writ petition seeking enforcement of a policy of a legislation permitted by a political party would lie or be maintainable. In case, any legal right of the petitioner is infringed, it is always open to bring and retain the writ petition.
