CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SIDDHARTH MRIDUL

O R D E R

% 06.04.2016 The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeks a direction to the official respondent to release the petitioner on parole in order to enable him to institute a Special Leave Petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

As a necessary concomitant it would be incumbent on the petitioner to furnish an address in Delhi. Despite opportunities, the petitioner has failed to furnish an address in Delhi where he would reside during the period of parole if granted to him for the institution of a Special Leave Petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

In view of the aforementioned circumstances, the relief prayed for in the present petition cannot be granted. The petition is accordingly dismissed. However, the Delhi Legal Services Authority is directed to assist the petitioner in instituting the proposed Special Leave Petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, if the petitioner so desires.

A copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent, Tihar, for compliance and to be communicated to the petitioner. SIDDHARTH MRIDUL, J APRIL 06, 2016 mk
