We are informed by Mr.Prashant Pandey, learned counsel who is working with Mr.Ravindra S.Garia, learned counsel for the appellant that the settlement reached between the parties on 19th January, 2016 has been substantially worked out. He states that the proceedings initiated by the respondent-wife under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act stand withdrawn; that in the first motion petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, statements of the parties have been recorded and the amount in terms of the said settlement has also been paid to the respondent.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties as noted by us on 19th January, 2016 and which has been substantially worked out, nothing MAT.APP.(F.C.) 8/2016
