% 04.01.2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking direction to respondent No.1 to grant hawking license to the petitioner forthwith in compliance with the law laid down in the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. The petitioner further seeks directions to respondents to permanently allow the petitioner to do his hawking business at the vending site bearing Gate No.3, Phouwarah Park, Near boundary wall of Anglo Arabic Public School, Ajmeri Gate, Delhi in compliance with law laid down in the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.
After some arguments, Mr. Iqbal Ashraf Rehmani, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition as well as application with liberty to move an appropriate application before the Town
Vending Committee, as and when the same is constituted. As prayed, the petition as well as application are dismissed as withdrawn.
