THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.14322 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the second respondent in issuing Notification, dated 30.03.2017 for starting of new private unaided degree college for women in so far as Peddapuram Mandal in East Godavari District and specifying the place as Samalkot Road while not specifying the place in other Mandals. Learned Government Pleader for Higher Education (Andhra Pradesh) produced before this Court a copy of the 'Note on the New Degree Colleges Notification', dated 21.04.2017. It is stated that the word 'Samalkot Road' was wrongly printed in the Web Notification after the word 'Peddapuram', and now the same is removed and notification is rectified.

In view of the same, no cause of action survives for continuation of the writ petition.
