Nagar in Crime No.305 of 2021, on the file of Abdullapurmet Police Station, Rachakonda This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri METTU SHANKAR, Advocate for the Petitioner and of the Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana on behalf of the Sole Respondent The Court made the following: ORDER

ORDER
Heard Sri Vasantaraidu, learned counsel representing Sri Mettu Shankar, learned counsel on record for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor who is representing the respondent-State 2.
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C seeking the Court to enlarge the petitioner on bail, who is arrayed as accused No.l in S.C.No.149 of 2022 which is pending before the Court of Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Cyberabad 3.
Making his submission, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner moved an application for grant of bail vide Cr1.P.No.704B of 2022 and this Court while dismissing the said application directed the trial Court to dispose of the sessions case within a period of I t I t four (41 months and further liberty was granted to the petitioner to move for bail on completion of the said period. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that til now trial is not completed and therefore, the petitioner rnay be enlarged on bail.

Opposing the relief sought for, learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that the petitioner is involved in purchase ELnd sale of Ganja and ample material is on record to show that the petitioner along with others was doing the said business. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor also contended that huge quantity of 200 kg of Ganja was seized from the possession of the petitioner and other accused. Learrred Additional Public Prosecutor further submits that the prosecution witnesses, examined till now, supported the case of the prosecution. 6.
Having considered the submissions thus made, this Court is of the view that it 'rould be wholly undesirable to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. 7.
Resultantly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. 8.
