ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A1 to A4 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.85 of 2016 of Piduguralla Town Police Station, Guntur District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 306 r/w 34 IPC, against them.

2. It is alleged in the complaint that about 4 years back from the date of incident, the husband of younger sister of the de facto complainant had purchased house site and constructed a building therein, due to jealousy, all the accused were abusing his younger sister in filthy language by attributing illegal contact with other men and also bated her to die, due to their unbearable harassment, his younger sister committed suicide by hanging in her house on 01.04.2016 between 1500 and 1600 hrs. Based on the complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the accused.

3. In view of the serious allegations made in the complaint, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioners/A1 to A4 and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law. The petitioners herein are directed to appear before the investigating agency as and when required and cooperate with the investigating agency.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
