HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.68 of 2020 ORDER:

This writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the respective parties. This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief :- " ......to issue writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus to consider the representation dt.26.08.2019 of the petitioner seeking to extend all the benefits with effect from 03.10.2008 on par with the persons who have been appointed as junior lineman as per condition No.6(IV)(c) of the revised notification dt.21.10.2006 in full compliance of the order dt.10.11.2009 in W.A.No.1434 of 2008 and batch which was confirmed by order dt.25.02.2019 in SLP(c).Nos.15001-15110 of 2013 and batch of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India....." .

Heard Mr.P.R.Balarami Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. The grievance of the petitioner is that his services were regularized on 26.08.2013 with effect from 02.08.2011 but not with effect from 03.10.2008 on par with the persons, who have been appointed as Junior Lineman in full compliance of the order dated 10.11.2009 passed by a Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.1434 of 2008, which was confirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide order dated 25.02.2019 in SLP (c).Nos.15001-15110 of 2013 and batch. In those set of circumstances, he has submitted a representation to the respondents on 26.08.2019. But, so far, the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representation nor considered his case for regularization with effect from 03.10.2008.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 26.08.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents contends that since the representation of the petitioner is pending, the respondents would consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 26.08.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
