This writ petition is filed alleging that the application dt.19.10.2018 made by the petitioner for assignment of land as an Ex-Serviceman is not acted upon and no decision is taken so far by the respondent authorities.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the writ petition, an order is passed by the respondent authorities on 03.01.2020 rejecting the request of the petitioner for assignment of land. He, therefore, submits that liberty may be accorded to the petitioner to workout his remedy against the order dt.03.01.2020 passed by the respondent authorities rejecting the request of the petitioner for assignment of land. 3.
In view of the order dt.03.01.2020 passed by the respondent authorities rejecting the request of the petitioner for assignment of land, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy against the order of rejection dt.03.01.2020 passed by the respondent authorities. No order as to costs.
