This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2015 and in not permitting the petitioner to attend the IV year I Semester Examination of B.Tech. (Mech) Engineering Course scheduled to be conducted from 09.11.2015 as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents Nos.1 and 2 to permit the petitioner to attend IV year I semester examination of B.Tech(Mech) Engineering.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of the Court to permit the petitioner to withdraw the Writ Petition. Permission is accorded. In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to costs.
