HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 23724 OF 2017 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 and 2 in failing to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Deputy Transport Commissioner under ST quota in the on going departmental promotion committee (DPC) in spite of having seniority and eligibility as illegal and arbitrary. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport for respondents. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport on instructions, submits that at present there is no meeting of DPC, as alleged by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Recording the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport, this writ petition is closed granting liberty to the petitioner for filing fresh writ petition as and when DPC is proposed to be held.

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
