fca_25_2008 JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Family Court Appeal arises out of order and decree dated 12-12-2007 in F.C.O.P.No. 828 of 2006 on the file of the Judge, Family Court, Hyderabad.

Consequent on the reference of the dispute to mediation centre, proceedings of mediation have taken place between the parties. The Deputy Director, Mediation and Arbitration Centre, High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, has sent his report along with the mediator's report, wherein it is stated as under:
"Today dt. 6th September, 2016, both the parties present and agreed for compromise. Matter regards to child custody. Both the Respondents are fatherin-law and mother-in-law of the petitioner. Now the child, his son Ch.Nitish is staying with his father/petitioner Sri Ch.Praveen Kumar. For this both the parties agreed.
Hence, the matter is settled in mediation."

At the hearing, learned counsel for the appellant is not present. However, learned counsel for the respondents submitted that as the minor child is living with his father-the petitioner, the Family Court Appeal may be disposed of in pursuance of the mediator's report.

The Family Court Appeal is, accordingly, disposed of as settled though mediation by placing the mediator's report on record. 5.
As a sequel to disposal of the appeal, F.C.A.M.P.No. 48 of 2008 shall stand closed as infructuous.
