THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Writ Petition No.22012 of 2006 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) While challenging the validity of Rule 8(3) of G.O.Ms.No.173 dated 10.05.2006, the election of the 4th respondent as President of Karlapalem Mandal Parishad at the meeting held on 21.07.2006 is subjected to challenge in this writ petition.
The relief sought for in the W.P.M.P. was dismissed by an order of this Court dated 01.11.2006. As the term of the President of Mandal Parishad must have expired by now, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and the writ petition has become infructuous. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
