Heard both sides.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not enquiring and not taking action in Crime No.4 of 2013 of Yellareddypet Police Station, Karimnagar, dated 04.01.2013, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447 and 427 of IPC, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Asst. Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that already police have investigated the case and now steps are being taken to file a final report, at the earliest.

Having regard to the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents-police to file a final report in Crime No.4 of 2013 of Yellareddypet Police Station, Karimnagar, dated 04.01.2013, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, in accordance with law, if not already filed. No costs.
