THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.26354 OF 2006 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed complaining inaction on the part of the respondent in paying the compensation for the land an extent of Ac. 13-40, which was taken possession on 20.04.1986. It is not necessary for this court to set out the details in the counter affidavit to the extent of stating that in Para-6 of the counter affidavit filed on February, 2007, it was asserted that 80% of the compensation amount was paid to the land owners and balance amount would be paid after enquiry.

Today, learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (A.P.) had placed on record the instructions received from the Revenue Divisional Officer, Amalapuram, vide his letter dated 07.03.2017. In the said instructions, it was asserted that 80% of the land compensation amount was paid to the claimants in the month of December, 2006 and the remaining 20% of the land value paid in the month of March, 2007.

Considering the limited relief claimed in the writ petition and considering the assertion made by the 3rd respondent, the writ petition is closed by recording the written submissions of the Revenue Divisional Officer viz., Sri G.

Ganesh Kumar, Amalapuram, vide his letter dated 07.03.2017. No costs. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
