HACJ & Dr.SA, J W.P.No.47 of 2019 Dt: 21-06-2019 Order: (per Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan) This writ petition is filed for issue of a Habeas Corpus for production of the petitioner's wife, namely Guda Navya (for short 'the detenue'), before this Court. In compliance of order dated 20-06-2019, the detenue has been produced before this Court by the respondent No.3.

This Court has spoken to the detenue. She informs this Court that she is twenty years old. She has done second year B.Tech Course, but has dropped out of her studies thereafter. According to her, her marriage with the petitioner, Mr. Medi Pramod, was a love marriage performed on 03-10-2018. However, after staying with him for some time, she realized that his family background is not up to the mark. Therefore, according to her, she is presently staying with her parents; she would like to continue to stay with them even hereinafter.

Since the detenue is a major person, who has clearly expressed her will to continue to stay with the respondent

HACJ & Dr.SA, J W.P.No.47 of 2019 Dt: 21-06-2019 No.4, her father, this Court does not find any merit in the present Habeas Corpus petition.

Therefore, this writ petition is hereby dismissed. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, stand disposed of as infructuous.
