HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39199 of 2016 ORDER:

1.

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the official respondents not to call them to the police station without there being any crime against them. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that the petitioners are the victims in a cheating case and they paid amounts to one agent viz., Syed Adnan for getting job visa at Dubai and that there are disputes between the said agent and another senior agent and there are complaints against each other. In that connection, the 4th respondent is calling the petitioners repeatedly. 4.

Considering the circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"The official respondents are directed not to call the petitioners to the police station, without there being any crime against them. However, it is made clear that if any crime for cognizable offence is registered against the petitioners, the official respondents are at liberty to proceed in accordance with law." There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
