This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner-accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.272 of 2016 of I Town Police Station, Siddipet, registered for the offences under Sections 376 and 506 I.P.C. and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act). 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner-accused and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, apart from perusing the material on record.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that charge sheet is filed in this case, the cause in this petition does not survive for adjudication and became infructuous.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this case, shall stand closed.
