HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.267 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction, directing the respondents to make payment of wages to the petitioners as per 10th Wage Agreement, dated 02.11.2017. To that effect, the petitioners have submitted a representation to the respondents on 19.11.2018 requesting the respondents to grant wages as per 10th Wage Agreement, but the respondents have not considered the said representation and not passed any orders on the said representation.

Counsel for petitioners submits that a similar issue fell for consideration before this Court in Writ Petition No.32261 of 2018, dated 14.09.2018, wherein, this Court directed the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners therein on 23.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks. Counsel for petitioners contends that similar orders can be passed in the present writ petition also, directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners on 19.11.2018 and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable period of time. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents has not disputed the same and contend that the cases of the petitioners will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law. This Court, having considered the rival submissions of the parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the

petitioners on 19.11.2018 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 4th January, 2019 ajr
