THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.365 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondent no.2 in wrongly publishing the details of the petitioner i.e. gender, community, agency status and district in the ranking list of Teachers Recruitment Test for the post of Language Pandit. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a female candidate, belongs to S.T. community, local of Khammam District (Agency area) and in the application form, the petitioner has rightly filled up all the details and accordingly hall ticket was issued to her. He further submits that in the ranking list published in the month of July, 2018, the respondents have shown the gender of the petitioner as male, community as BC-B and district as Nalgonda instead of Khammam District, and immediately, the petitioner has submitted representation dated 2.1.

2019 to the 2nd respondent requesting to make necessary changes in respect of her gender, caste and district, but, the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representation. Therefore, learned counsel submits that appropriate orders may be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to change the gender of the petitioner as female, community as Scheduled Tribe and district as Khammam (Agency area) and consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Telugu Language Pandit.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would contend that since the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents seeking correction of the mistakes, the representation of the petitioner will be considered, in accordance with law. This Court having considered the submissions made by both the parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
