THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.VI NOD KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.152 of 2020 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the 5th respondent in interfering in the disputes between the petitioner and the 7th respondent and calling the petitioner to the police station in the name of enquiry on the complaint lodged by respondents 7 and 8, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 06.01.2020, submits that the 7th respondent in the present writ petition lodged a complaint before the 5th respondent on 29.12.2019 with regard to the life threat to the 7th respondent from her neighbour, i.e. the petitioner herein, by blocking the common passage and locking the same. It is further submitted that on receipt of the said complaint, an entry in the General Diary was made and enquiry was conducted on 29.12.2019 itself, and for the said purpose, the 5th respondent made phone calls to the petitioner. By the said written instructions, it is stated that, except for the purpose of enquiring into the above said complaint, the 5th respondent never made calls to the petitioner to settle the issue with the 7th respondent, as being alleged. 4.

Recording the aforestated submissions made on behalf of the 5th respondent, no further orders need be passed in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
