THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8808 of 2015 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is filed by the petitioner-Accused seeking to grant bail in connection with crime No.54 of 2015 on the file of Nagaram Police Station, Guntur, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409, 468 and 477-A IPC.

The allegation against the petitioner is that while working as Grameen Dok Sevak, Branch Post Postmaster, Pamidimarru Branch Post office, has misappropriated government money pertaining to savings accounts from 05.01.2014 to 01.08.2014. Heard and perused the material available on record. Since the allegations against the petitioner are serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage.
