O R D E R

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: 'To issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare the action of respondents jail authorities in not transferring the petitioner's husband who is a under trial prisoner in crime No.533/2014 from Chanchalguda Central Prison to Cherlapally Central Prison as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Art.21 of the Constitution of India and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

The Superintendent, Central Prison, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad, filed a counter-affidavit stating that the petitioner would be at liberty to meet her husband through interview (mulakath) at Central Prison, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad, according to the prescribed procedure and the permitted timing in accordance with the rules applicable. In the light of the aforestated statement, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the matter may be closed permitting the petitioner to apply to the Jail authorities in accordance with the due procedure for permission to meet her husband.
