Heard Sri K. Vinaya Kumar, counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (Andhra Pradesh), for respondents.

2. The petitioner states that proposals to bifurcate existing ration cards from his shop and transfer them to another shop no.41 at Gamandlapalem Village, Nellore District is being proposed on the basis of a report submitted by 4th respondent with regard to viability, and that the said report is incorrect.

3. According to petitioner he has got 661 ration cards allotted to his shop, but according to respondents 815 ration cards are allotted to petitioner's shop.

4. The norm as per G.O.Ms.No.35 Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies (CS-I) Department dt.17.09.2007 for a rural area appears to be 400 to 450 ration cards for each Fair Price Shop.

5. The petitioner claims to have given a representation dt.08.10.2015 to 3rd respondent opposing bifurcation of the cards, disputing the report of 4th respondent.

6. Therefore, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dt.08.10.2015, and consider the objections raised by petitioner to the proposed bifurcation of ration cards from the said shop within a period of eight (08)

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No order as to costs.

8. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
