Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for respondents 1 to 4.
This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 3rd respondent in suspending the authorization of the petitioner, as arbitrary and illegal.
Petitioner is the dealer of fair price shop No.36, Melapuram Village, Hindupur Mandal, Anantapur District. On 23.03.2015, the Vigilance & Enforcement Department and Revenue Officials inspected the fair price shop of the petitioner, verified the stock and found certain variations. Thereafter, the 3rd respondent without verifying the records and oral explanation of the petitioner, suspended his authorization.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner did not commit any irregularities as mentioned in the impugned order.
Since the suspension order was passed pending enquiry, the 3rd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, Penukonda, Ananthapur District, is directed to conduct enquiry and pass final order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
