Katasani Ramanamma v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.20084 of 2016 ORDER:
It is the case of the petitioner that she is not giving any opportunity for participating in the Government programmes for the development of the village as per the G.O.Ms.No.135, dated 17.09.2014. Sri G. Seshadri, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj (A.P), appearing on behalf of the 4th respondent submits that the petitioner may be directed to approach the 2nd respondent-District Collector by submitting an application expressing his grievance.
As can be seen from the pleadings and submissions of the respective parties, it appears that the petitioner is not being given any opportunity for participating in the Government Programmes for the development of the Village as per the terms and conditions of G.O0.Ms.No.135 dated 17.09.2014 In those circumstances, interest of justice would be better served if a direction is given to the petitioner to approach the 2nd respondent-District Collector and submit an application expressing her grievance and in turn the 2nd respondent-District Collector shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, after having given the opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of submission of the application by the petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
