M/S. Shantha Sriram Constructions Pvt Ltd 501 v. The Cantonment Board

HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K. LAKSHMAN WRIT PETITION No.13489 OF 2008 ORDER:

When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned standing counsel appearing for respondent - Cantonment Board, on instructions, would submit that in compliance of the order dated 26.06.2008 passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.17402 of 2008, respondent has released the lay out without insisting certificate from the District Collector with regard to conversion of agricultural land into non-agriculture land. It is further submitted that in similar circumstances, recording the said submissions, this Court vide order dated 24.06.2022 in W.P.No.22652 of 2008 closed the said writ petition. In view of the aforesaid submission nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication and this writ petition is closed. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
