THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.1788 of 2011 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Home (AP) for respondents 1 to 9.

2. This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondents 4 and 5 in withdrawing the security earlier provided to the petitioner.

3. This Court, by order dated 02.02.2011, directed respondents 4 and 5 to provide 1 + 1 security to the petitioner on payment basis subject to further orders. But, in view of the involvement of the petitioner in criminal cases, that security was also withdrawn as per G.O.Rt.No.655 dated 13.03.1997. The united State of Andhra Pradesh is bifurcated and new State of Telangana is carved out.

4. In the circumstances, the relief sought for by the petitioner, on the basis of the orders passed in the year 2011, cannot be granted. But, the petitioner is given liberty to submit a representation to the concerned officer for providing security, and the concerned officer on receipt of such application, shall examine the same and pass necessary orders in accordance with law.
