The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Mancherial Mandal, is not taking steps to effect mutation in his favour in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.1.00 guntas in Survey No.345/a of Mancherial Village, Mancherial Mandal and District, despite his submitting an application in the prescribed format.

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner submitted an online application in Form VI(A) as required by Section 4 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, and Rule 18 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989. Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar concerned to remain unmoved.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Mancherial Mandal, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application submitted in Form VI(A) in accordance with the due procedure expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
