HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.142 OF 2018 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, has not taken any action upon his application submitted in Form VI-A under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for brevity 'the Act of 1971') for issuance of a pattadar passbook and a title deed in relation to the land admeasuring Ac.37-20 guntas in Sy.Nos.90, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 130 and 147 of Hamidulla Nagar Village, Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

The record reflects that the petitioner made an application in the prescribed format and paid the requisite fee. That being so, there is no reason as to why the Tahsildar, Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, should remain inactive over the said application. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's Form VI-A application dated 25.01.2016 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
