ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a declaration that the action of the second respondent in not releasing the results of the examinations conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th of August, 2011, as arbitrary and illegal.

The petitioners sought the above relief in order to enable them to submit their thesis, complete the process of evaluation of thesis and conduct Viva for the award of Ph.D degree. It is not in dispute that the petitioners appeared for the examinations conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th of August, 2011. In the circumstances, the second respondent University is directed to declare the results of the examinations conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th of August, 2011, so far as the petitioners are concerned. The learned Counsel for the respondents has no

objection to the extent of the relief granted in the present Writ Petition.
