HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.15897 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "A Writ of Mandamus may be issued declaring the action of the 5th respondent in not allowing the petitioners to attend duties as Senior Mate and Field Assistant with effect from March 2016 without issuing any notice or written order and also trying to appoint other candidates as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to continue the services of the petitioners in the same organization as usual." 2.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents produced before this Court a copy of the Memo dated 19.09.2016 informing the petitioners that their services were terminated in the year 2013 as they have generated less than 1000 person days in the Gram Panchayats and as such there is no requirement of Field Assistants/Senior Mates. In view of the same, no orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition. 3.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to the petitioners to challenge the aforesaid order dated 19.09.2016. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
