THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5944 of 2013 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-A1 to A4 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.87 of 2013 of T. Sundupalli Police Station, YSR (Kadapa) District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Heard.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings initiated against the petitioners.

However, the police concerned are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioners, and to file a final report. If the petitioners are aggrieved over the final report that would be filed by the police, they are at liberty to approach this Court. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand dismissed.
