ORDER

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

The petitioner is an Anganwadi Worker working at ICDS Centre, Lomada Village, Simhadripuram Mandal, YSR Kadapa District. She was appointed as Anganwadi Worker in 1985. Subsequently, she was married to a person within the local limits of Kovaramguttapalli Village. Thus, she became the native of Kovaramguttapalli Village. She filed a representation dated 01-09-2015 to the respondents to consider her request for transfer to Kovaramguttapalli as Anganwadi Worker.

She submits that as per G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 07-01-2009, subsequent to her marriage, her case has to be considered for transfer to Kovaramguttapalli on priority basis. However, in the meanwhile, the respondents issued a Notification dated 06-10-2015 to fill up the post of Anganwadi Worker in ICDS Centre 1, Kovaramguttapalli Village.

Under these circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer as requested in her representation dated 1-9-2015 to Kovaramguttapalli Village in terms of G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 07-01-2009, prior to filling the post of Anganwadi Worker pursuant to the Notification dated 06-10-2015 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
