In this writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that though he filed an appeal together with an application for stay seeking to set aside the proceedings, dated 12.12.2017, issued by respondent No.3-Revenue Divisional Officer, Ongole, before respondent No.2-Joint Collector, Prakasam District on 20.12.2017 under Clause 20 of the A.P. Public Distribution System Control (Order), 2008, no orders have been passed either in the stay application or in the appeal.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the nature of relief sought by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Till such time, the proceedings, dated 12.12.2017, shall stand stayed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand disposed of.
