HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 19764 of 2002 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner is challenging the action of the respondents in issuing proceedings dated 17.09.2002 placing him under forced leave for a period of 15 days i.e., from 17.09.2002 to 01.10.2002 and this Court granted interim suspension of the impugned proceedings vide orders dated 07.10.2002 in WPMP No.24812 of 2002. A perusal of the record also discloses that the petitioner had retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 12th December, 2018 cbs
