Heard the learned counsel appearing for both parties and with their consent, the present Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2 . The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"to issue a Writ or order or Direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd Respondent taking steps to demolish the House and other structure in an extent of Ac. 0-540 cents in R.S.No. 14/1 (T.S.No. 14/1) bearing House No. 19-7-16, in Ward No. 2 of Block No.2 of Bandlametta in Ongole Municipality limits is illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and contrary to the provisions of A.P. Municipalities Act and consequently direct the respondents not to demolish the house of the petitioner."

3. The case of the petitioner is that pursuant to the certificate issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer, Ongole, in the year 2000, the petitioner is in possession of the property in R.S.No.14/1 and the respondent authorities are trying to demolish the house and other structures constructed by the petitioner without following due process of law.

4. Sri Ancha Pandu Ranga Rao, learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, states that till date no notice has been issued and no action will be initiated by the authorities without following due process of law.

5. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to follow due process of law

before taking any coercive steps in respect of the property in dispute in this writ petition.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
