THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.491 of 2019 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioners in this case reads as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondent No.3 herein in not mutating names of the petitioners in the revenue records and issuing the Pattadar pass books and title deeds in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.1.29 gts., and Ac.1.28 gts., in Sy.No.368/A1, 368/A2 situated at Vattipalli village, Marriguda Mandal, Nalgonda District, in spite of submitting the application in the prescribed Form-VI(A) dt.25-9-2018, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the 3rd respondent herein to mutate the names of the petitioners in the revenue records and issue the pattadar pass books and title deeds on the names of the petitioners in respect of the above mentioned lands, and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioners submitted an application in the prescribed format in Form VI(A) under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, for mutation of their names in the revenue records in relation to the subject land. It is not open to the Tahsildar, Marriguda Mandal, Nalgonda District, to remain somnolent upon such an application, having received the same.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Marriguda Mandal, Nalgonda District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioners' application dated 25.09.2018 in accordance with the due

procedure expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
