B.Ravi, v. The State Of Teingana,
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD
FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) THURSDAY, THE NINETEENTH DAY OF FEBRUARY TWO THOUSAND AND FIFTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.3609 of 2015 BETWEEN B.Ravi ... PETITIONER AND The State of Telangana, Rep. by its Principal Secretary, Secretariat Building, Hyderabad and others.
...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:
ORDER:
Heard.
2. Petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by respondent No.3 dated 18.10.2014 removing him from the post of Field Assistant. Petitioner states that he was appointed as Field Assistant at Mallapur Mandal, Karimnagar District in the year 2006 and though he is performing satisfactorily without giving any room for any allegation against him, petitioner was given a charge memo by respondent No.3 on 08.09.2014 alleging certain irregularities. Though petitioner has filed detailed explanation on 15.09.2014, straight away an order of dismissal was passed on 18.10.2014. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner preferred an appeal before respondent No.2 on 10.11.2014, but no
action is taken on the said appeal. Hence, the present writ petition is filed alleging inaction on the part of respondent No.2.
3. Learned standing counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 5 submits that the appellate authority would consider petitioner's appeal expeditiously and pass appropriate orders.
4. Since the petitioner is removed on account of the order passed by respondent No.3, it is just and appropriate that respondent No.2 considers petitioner's appeal and passes appropriate orders thereon expeditiously. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of directing respondent No.2 to dispose of the said appeal after notice to the petitioner preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
