The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents 2 & 3 in not taking any action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 31.12.2019, as being illegal and arbitrary.

Pochaiah, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dated 09.01.2020, which is placed on the record of this Court, would submit that on receipt of the complaint dated 31.12.2019 from the petitioner, the 3rd respondent-Station House Officer, Bhupalapally Police Station made a GD entry and upon causing enquiry, a case was registered in Crime No.5 of 2020 of Bhupalapally Police Station on 03.01.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 379 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and the case is under investigation.
Having regard to the fact that since a case is already registered and is under investigation, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
