When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents had informed this Court that the petitioner's candidature will be considered if the petitioner comes within the zone of merit in the selections.

In view of the above submission, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Therefore, the writ petition is accordingly closed with an observation that the case of the petitioner will be considered for the post of language pandit (telugu) in pursuance to the notification No.54/2017 dated 21.10.2017. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
