HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.27461 of 2005 ORDER :

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking promotion to the post of Physical Director, Gr.II in terms of G.O.Ms.No.43, dated 07.04.2000.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that petitioner Nos.1 to 5 have already retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and petitioner No.6 is working as a Physical Education Teacher (PET). If the case of petitioner No.6 is not considered for promotion to the post of Physical Director, Gr.II, the respondents are directed to consider his case for promotion to the post of Physical Director, Gr.II and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
