HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.26297 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in entertaining the application and consequently providing the electricity Service Connection to the Premises bearing H.No.2-92/32/1 as illegal and arbitrary.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 5 (Telangana).

3. At the time of hearing, both counsels with one voice submitted that the subject matter of this writ petition is squarely covered by the orders of this Court in W.P.No.32614 of 2015. In the said writ petition, this Court observed as follows: "Although it is stated that the judgment of the Division Bench referred to above is pending consideration in the Supreme Court, subject to further directions which may be issued by the State Government of Telangana or the Supreme Court in the matter, the respondents shall release individual service connections to the members of the above apartment complex on payment of requisite charges within a period of four(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also in view of the submissions made by both counsel, this writ petition is allowed in similar lines to the order of this Court in writ petition No.32614 of 2015. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
