HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.160 of 2020 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash C.C.No.719 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bellampally.

Though at the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused reiterated the contents of the affidavit filed in support of the Criminal Petition, he restricts his prayer to give a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the said C.C. expeditiously.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed this application. 4.

In the light of the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and as the aforesaid Calender Case is of the year 2017, the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bellampally, is directed to commence and conclude the trial in C.C.No.719 of 2017 as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The trial Court shall not give unnecessary adjournments in the said C.C.

Subject to the above direction, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. 6.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
