HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.579 OF 2019 O R D E R:

The petitioner Association is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Tahsildar, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in undertaking a survey based on its application dated 14.12.2018. Perusal of the said application reflects that the survey was sought of the lands in as many as 12 survey numbers. However, the writ affidavit discloses that the petitioner Association is only interested in an extent of Ac.5-00 guntas of land. Further, the writ affidavit discloses that this extent of Ac.5-00 guntas of land is spread out in as many as 46 survey numbers.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the State of Telangana would point out that even if the petitioner Association made an application in the proper format, without the requisite details and proper documentation in the form of an approved layout, the revenue authorities cannot undertake the survey as sought by the petitioner Association. This court finds merit in this submission. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner Association to make a proper application with full details and documentation if it wants a survey of the subject land. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
