The petitioner was appointed as Sweeper at the age of 24 years with IX Class educational qualification and posted to work at Primary School, Undavelly, Manopad Mandal, Mahabubnagar District. His date of birth is stated to be 15.08.1957. He was initially appointed on daily wages and at the time of filing the Writ Petition he was drawing Rs.1623/- per day. Now, the present Writ Petition is filed seeking regularization of his services as Sweeper by applying G.O.(P).No.112, Finance and Planning (FW.PC.III) Department, dated 23.07.1997.

In view of the date of birth of the petitioner as 15.08.1957, the petitioner attained the age of 60 years by 14.08.2017. It is fairly stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the age of retirement is 60 years. If that is so, the petitioner would have retired on attaining the age of 60 years. Hence, no relief can be granted in the present Writ Petition. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
