This petition is filed by the petitioners-A1 and A2 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.47 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Undavelly Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 306 r/w 34 IPC.

Heard both sides and perused the record.

The parties intend to compromise the matter.

They can do so before the Lok Adalat concerned as per the procedure established under law.

With this observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
