WRIT PETITION No.3965 of 2009 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue "Writ of Mandamus" or any other writ, order, or direction declaring action of the 1st respondent in not implementing the enhanced age of superannuation from 60 to 65 years to the University Teachers keeping in view of the recommendations of the 3rd respondent committee as approved by the 4th respondent vide proceedings dated 31.12.2008 and consequently direct the respondents herein to approve the said recommendations and not to retire the services of the petitioner in the 2nd respondent university till the age of 65 years and pass such other order or orders as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
At the hearing, Sri P.Sriharsha Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration.
The writ petition is accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of main petition, WPMP.No.5184 of 2009 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
